Questions tech leads ask us

Pricing, contracts, quality, process and legal. If yours isn't here, ask Victor directly.

Pricing and contracts

How much does a senior developer cost?

$6,900 per developer per month, all-in. It is a flat rate, the same whatever the stack, so your own number is that rate times the developers you need. It arrives by email the moment you send the quote form.

Is there a minimum contract?

No. Month to month with 30 days' notice. No deposit and no minimum number of developers.

What if the developer isn't a fit?

The first 2 weeks are risk-free: if it isn't working, you don't pay for them. After that, we replace the developer for free within 90 days.

Can I hire the developer full-time later?

Yes. The buyout is 3 months' fee in the first year and 2 months' fee after that.

How does billing work?

One invoice a month per developer, in US dollars. We handle the developer's pay, local payroll and taxes.

Developers and quality

How senior are the developers?

Senior only: 6+ years of professional experience on the stack you need.

How do you vet them?

Three scored checks: a senior-level coding test on your stack, a soft-skills interview and a standardized English assessment. See the vetting page for the full process.

What hours do they work?

Your hours. Our developers are in Latin America and overlap with US Eastern time for the full working day.

How good is their English?

Every developer passes a standardized English assessment before you see the profile. The level is on the profile card.

Do I interview them?

Yes. You get three profiles per seat and run your usual technical interview. You pick who joins.

Process

How fast can someone start?

Profiles arrive within 48 hours of your brief. Start dates depend on your interviews and the developer's notice, often one to two weeks.

Do they work inside my tools?

Yes. They join your Slack, repo, ticketing and standups, and follow your code review rules.

Can I scale up or down?

Yes. Add developers with a new brief, or end a seat with 30 days' notice.

Legal and security

Who owns the code?

You do. We sign an NDA before you share anything, and the contract assigns the IP to you.

Do you work with agencies?

Yes, white-label. The developer works under your brand, and we never contact your client.

Can you work on government or defense projects?

Usually not. Work that requires US citizenship or a security clearance can't be staffed with developers outside the US.
